retrieving deleted emails

I've been receiving very harassing emails from an individual. I automatically delete them and have been doing this since September. I was told that even though they've been deleted for quite a while, they are still in my computer somewhere. I can't seem to locate anything like this. Does anyone know how to do it? I would love to be able to print the whole lot of them and take them to the authorities. Thanks.
