I have an eTower 700Mhz machine and about a year ago I called an Me tech (under warranty then) because my computer would not boot up. I did not want to lose my data when I used the restore cd. The first 5 techs that I spoke to said "can't do it, you just need to start over". I called back one more time and found a sharp young tech that walked me through a DOS restore back to a certain date that the computer was healthy. It worked but it required specific entries. I have lost that information. Anyone know what that procedure is? I remember using the restore cd and choosing the DOS option, but from there it required entrys. Please help! Thanks
