Hi all.

I have recently downloaded Quik Time as I needed it to play something, but now I find that it has taken over all media playing roles including my music.

Can anyone please tell me how I can return the default player back to Windows Media player, but still retain Quick Times for when I need it?

Hi guys.

All fixed. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it being more careful what I ticked.

Well I am not sure which button to press, but you will find an option on File Associations. Remove all the file types that you do not want QuickTime to use. Similarly go into Windows MEdia Player and select all the file types that you want WMP to use under the File Associaitions
