CPU/Ram: pentium III 192MB

Ive been trying to use this feature.
A transparent menu rather than a screen full of icons on a laptop.
When I start I still get the flash of icons until the program kicks in.
How can I hide/remove all icons?

If you have Active Desktop enabled, you can right-click on the desktop and disable Desktop Icons under the Active Desktop option.
