Hello there, I found in this forum how to reinstall windows without a cd. I wanted to reinstall it over the existing version as not to lose any files! I remember it went c:windows/cabs/ something, but then I can't remember. It may not have even been that, but I think that's what I remember. I've searched and searched for the post again, but couldn't find it. I do not have ANY windows boot discs or cds. Could someone PLEASE help??
It will take about 30 minutes or so, follow the prompts and do EXACTLY what it says.
If you get an error during the installation, then you will have to get the disks and re-format your hard drive and do a clean install. Without the disks, your out of luck my friend.
