Hello

I need to reinstall my operating system. But l have some applications e.g. MS Office, Visual Studio. which l have installed but no longer have the installation disks.

If l do a clean install, how can l keep these applications.

Many thanks in advance

You can't..... Many of the files associated with these programs are actually in the Windows folder. If you reformat and reinstall, those files will be gone, and in turn, the programs won't function even if you've backed up the Program Files Folders.

I'd recommend you buy yourself new licenses, or if you installed legit versions, you may be able to get them replaced by MS. All depends...

Ok, first save your applications to a disk... And/Or If you have a CD-Burner, burn each different application on a CD. If this does not well, just e-mail just tell me!
