Hi! I am trying to let my CD-Rom drive reinstall itself, but I need so help, can someone give me some step by step directions in letting my CD-Rom drive reinstall itself?? Thank You!

I don't really get wat u said..U don't want it current driver? If so..rite click on My Computer --> properties --> device manager --> Click _CDROOm -->rite click ..and remove or click on remove and restart your comp..window will reinstall CDROm driver again!

That's right START>CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM>DEVICE MANAGER where you remove the CD-ROM. If Windows does not detect new hardware upon restarting, go back to CONTROL PANEL and install new hardware.
