the 50/60hz on the back of the monitor is
the hertz of the voltage, such as 120volts@60hz, not the monitor
refresh rate, check the manufacturers site for the correct refresh rate.

i have this sony monitor 21" which usually i set at adapter default while i was using win98se/winme.but when i changed to win xp..there no choice for adapter default..and if a want to set at 1280 x 960 or sord of it the graphic will be look like 3d and have the shadow...

at the back of the monitor it is written 50 - 60 hz.i have tried from 60 - 100 hz and no improvement....but the monitor looks better at 1152 x 864 (60hz - 85 hz). if there is any suggestion kindly forward it to me.

thank you
