Red line when defragmenting

Hi.When I was defraging my comp,I noticed there was a red line going through three of the files or clusters(not to sure what their called).I'm afraid to ask but does anyone know what this means.Thanks.

I think that means they are unmovable files, but it's been a long time since I've used Windows built in defrag, Speed Disk is what I use.
Click the legend button and it should tell you what it means (details>legend, I think).

If it is Windows defrag you are using, click on the Legends tab at the bottom right hand of the window; it explains what all of the colours represent. David 421938

I remember it from years ago. ITS SYSTEM FILES.
See, just like you can't delete files that are in use, you can't move system/program files that are in use and in ram.
If you are really desperate to defrag them, boot from another drive but its not worth the risk of completely messing up your system.
