Comment:

i tried emptying my recycle bin and the whole computer froze on me... so i restarted it and tried it again.... and did the same thing.... i re-booted and this time got rid of each file one by one... and therefore the bin should have been empty... but it's still has the icon (papers).... i look in it and there's nothing.... i delted another file so it would go in the bin.... and tried to empty the bin with that one file in there... and it said "would you like to delete 5 files?" meaning that it's still there?!?!

whats wrong?

This probably means that some keys have become corrupted in the registry. A common problem

Firstly try rightclking it and going to properties, tweak a couple of settings, make sure that use one setting for all drives is anabled

OK that

See what happens

If not, try getting Tweak UI and using the repair feature on that. Normally does the trick
