My sister is having trouble with her computer. I do not know what she has done and have not seen the computer, just know what she is telling me. She said that all of her documents are going to the recycle bin. She saves them under My Documents, but when she opens, it shows as recycle bin. When she emptied the recycle bin everything under My Documents was deleted. She was able to restore, but it still acts the same. She tried to run her Norton AntiVirus, but the icon is gone and files under the Nortan AntiVirus folder are gone. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts/ideas about the recycle bin/My Documents link.

If she right-clicks on the desktop icon "My Documents" what is the path that is displayed?

She says that she does not have an icon for My Documents on the Desktop. She does not ever remember seeing one either.

Then, have her open Explorer, and right click on "My Documents" there. That will show the path.
