Hi,
I have an Intel 1000mhz,256RAM,SoundMax2 integrated audio and I can't get my RealOne (or Real Player8 as well) to work with Net2Phone installed on my computer. I get an error message: "Can't acces audio, another device is using it" while in fact it's not. I'd understand that could be a problem if I was actually trying to call while running Real - but that's nonsense of course... If I uninstall Net2Phone everything works fine. Is that a problem with Sound Max? If it is I'd appreciate any recomandations for a different audio card:) Is there a way to disable Net2Phone when not using it?
There is no such conflict with any other player(winamp, sonique...) unfortunately I need RealOne.
Any thoughts? Real One support is not helpful at all:(
Thanks.

Net2Phone has wrecked my programs too as many times as I have used it. Seemed to get ugly unless I uninstalled it as well!
I would keep real and get the net2phone a registry healer if you can find one or at least find out if there is even a chance of the placements in the registry having gone amuk. keys and values are the thing to keep track of in there ya know. I have an Athlon myself and 256meg RAM, sound blaster sound card, a little different but OS is Windows ME. The matter may be solved I am convinced so don't quit!

Thanks Tom, I'm not giving up since i need both Real and Net2Phone. I'm a little reluctant to play around with my registry - don't know much about that. But what the hell, if I won't try I won't know...:)
