I have Real Player Plus installed on 3 computers, all of which are running Windows ME and all of which connect to the internet via a home phoneline networking connection to a 4th computer which is connected to MediaOne Road Runner. The newest computer is a Sony VAIO J150. On this particular computer, when I click Radio Tuner on the Real Player media bar, it is unable to connect with the realguide web page that has links to radio stations. Further, when I try to use Internet Explorer 5.5 (SP1 with all updates) to connect to realguide.real.com's "Radio Tuner" link, it times out every time. However, it will connect just fine to every other realguide.real.com link. I have no problems on the other 2 computers. Further, if I use Netscape to connect to realguide's tuner link, I have no problem on this computer -- only when I use IE5.5 What could be preventing IE on this computer from accessing THIS PARTICULAR WEB PAGE ONLY????

ie uses windows media player by default and may not be configured for using rp+ you might have to uninstall/reinstall rp+ on this machine

The answer turned out to be a bad cookie, in case anyone else has this problem. After trying many things, including totally reinstalling Real Player and Internet Explorer several times and tyring every preference, advanced, and security combo, I deleted all the real.com cookies and it works fine now.
