Hi guys In the last 15 minutes my Firewall Zone alarm 5.0 said it blocked internet access to my PC from 5 different Ip numbers and blocking different ports,and also now continuing to alert me....but i am in the same web site page from 20 minutes already. My question is: what i'd suppose to do now? 2)Everytime i start my PC Zone alarm says: "SSDP service on Window Me is trying To access the internet--->Application SSDPSRV.exe"--->which is located in 3 different folders 1- c\windows\system 2- c\windows\options\install 3- c\windows\options\cabs Has my Pc a severe infection?

SSDP simple service discovery protocol... if using zone alarm you will find that this service besides consuming unneeded memory -also dials out each and every time your pc is restarted. to disable SSDP. click start button click run then type msconfig then click startup tab scroll down untill you see SSDP uncheck the box click apply and ok it will tell you to restart the computer do that and see if it works out ok best wishes coly zenno
