Comment:

I put some files onto a cd but I can't change any of the names or remove anything on it because they're read-only. I tried unchecking the read-only box but it said that access is denied. Is there any way to rename files or is it not possible?

You'll need to copy the files to another media, HDD, floppy, etc., and then change the file attributes.

Do what you want on the files THEN copy to a CD.
