this is in regards to thread http://computing.net/windowsme/wwwboard/forum/37516.html i was having problems with hard drive waking up after i shutdown i have found the soulution A NEW POWER SUPPLY yay thank you all for your help but i decided to take it to the shop and i was told to have new power supply put in it solved the hard drive waking up due to power spikes and also solved the 15 min delay of rebooting after crash. once again ty so much everyone.
