Hi Everyone

I have a CD RW and DVD/CD Rom drives like 99% of the population. My cuurent CD burning software is Adaptec 4.0 which is now almost obsolete and does not permit the duplication of SVCD.

I have been advised to try the Nero which I am assured can duplicate SVCD format.

I can burn SVCD using Pinnacle Studio 8 but then only play on my separate DVD player NOT THE PC.(Dont understand why and the subject of previous unresolved thread)

Simple question is:

Is Nero going to help me if my DVD ROM drive cannot play SVCD? (Even if Nero has the facility to copy)

Many thanks

Antonio

It has nothing to do with the drive or burning software. It has everything to do with the proper codecs installed on your system.

"Is Nero going to help me"? Yes and no. Nero itself won't but the Nero player that accompanies the Nero install will play them.
