Subject: Question About System Restore
OS: Windows ME
CPU/Ram: 800/128
Model/Manufacturer: HP
Comment:
My system restore folder is getting pretty huge. I know how to clear it out but what I'd like to know is if there is any way to only take out some of the files without deleting them all.

Hi CosmoQueen:
You already know that turning it off and on will delete all the restore points.

Control Panel>System>Performance>File System>System Restore disk space.

Adjust the amount of space down and older restore points will be removed leaving the newer ones intact.

You can't delete specific points but this is a good option for ME.

A better option is to disable System Restore altogether.

I agree with Randy L and I would advise you NOT to turn system restore off and you might have to use it sometime in the near future
