I was wondering if anyone knows what qttask is and why it is running in the backround on my systems. I understand it is probably from Quick Time but I cant find it anywhere.

start-run-type in msconfig-press enter- click startup tab-see what it is associated with. if you want uncheck its entry, and use selective start-up. searching google only hit was for quicktime.

I was wonder the same thing and searched. it is realted to linked to quicktime. i hate that program anyhow lol.
