Comment:

Just recently I have 'Qktlkbd' appearing in my Ctrl, alt, del running processes...each time I manually end task on it but it returns each time I restart my computer...

After shutting it down...I have no apparent problems with any of my other software running properly, connecting to the internet, surfing the internet and my system continues to function at its peak.

I HAVE searched through win.ini, msconfig, and the registry...run ad-aware...no entries matching 'Qktlkbd'.

Have NOT installed any new software lately either...

Is this 'Qktlkbd' entry familiar to anyone?

Any help would be great...

Thank you.

QKtl - "kbd" - What kind of a keyboard do you have? Does it have any special keys on it that require software, like internet, volume, etc...?

If it does, I would venture a guess that this is your keyboard software.

Just found the same thing running on my computer but it doesn't show up now after killing it and rebooting. This forum is the only place i found a link to this from Google.

It got in my computer after using IE6 to browse some mp3 search pages...
