I had the same problem with QuickCamVC. I had to download the software version 5.4.3 of Quickcam. It calls for connection to a USB port. I don't have one and connected the camera to the parallel port and it still works fine. Go to the download section of Logitechs website. Select the software for cameras and choose the QuickCamPro (USB support) and choose WindowsME for the operating system. Download QUICKCAM VERSION 5.4.3.1017 and install it. Hook up your camera to the parallel port and it should work fine. I also am using an A/B switch which Logictech says you can't do.
