When I attempt to activate Windows Explorer
the following message appears:

"Explorer has caused an error in QCBAR.DLL
Explorer will now close
If you continue to experience this problem
Try restarting your computer"

I have restarted my computer several times
but the error will not go away

You probably solved this by now But.
This could cause problems but it worked for me.
If you are familiar with regedit just go in and search for all instances of qcbar and delete them otherwise follow the info below.

The qcbar.dll error is from a porno site the
easiest way to clean it out is to do a start run and enter regedit then click on file and export. export the registry to a directory of your choice then press f3 and type in qcbar to find the first instance delete the qcbar info press f3 again to find the next instance delete it keep doing this until you get to the end of the registry. reboot and things should work.
