putting audio tapes in my hard drive

i was wondering if there is a way to my old audio tapes into my hard drive so i can burn them on cd. is there a program out there free or not free that i can download or purchase. i have roxio cd creator 5 so i can copy my tapes on a cd but i need something to put tapes on my hard drive. also is there software or anything out there where i can put my vhs tapes on my hard drive if there is can someone please tell me. i would really apprectiate it. thanks to anyone that replies.

I imagine there is. . .you will probably need your stereo that reads the cd, an adapter to hook up to your sound card from your stereo, and specefic software. . .look here http://pages.prodigy.net/jdjd/audio/vinyl.htm

I use "Easy CD Creator 4 Deluxe" That I got from Roxio. In it there is a program called "Spin Doctor" that you can put your cassettes on your H/D and record them to CD from there. It's not free but maybe you can get a deal on upgrading from your program. That's what I did. Make sure you don't have a program like Spin Doctor in roxio cd creator 5. I have put over 100 cassettes on CD. Rich

MusicMatch does an excellent job of burning the cds too.
