Hi...hope someone can help me. Lately I have had trouble while running just about any application at different times on my PC. The program I'm running or how long the system has been on dosent seem to make any differance. It happens mostly while I'm on the internet playing online games.

No matter what I,m doing the system will completely freeze. Unable to mve mouse..CTRL/ALT/DELETE or anything. I have to shut the system down with reset button. The error i recieve is as follows: PSTORE has caused an error in kernel.32 DLL PSTORE will now close. I know that Kernel is the core OS..which in my case is Win ME. Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this without having to reinstall Win? Please post any info for my situation. here are system specs:

OS: WinME 4.90 Build 3000
CPU: Intel Pent3 667mhz
Ram: 320MB PC 100
DirectX 8.1
Motherboard: VIA tech VT82C6928X
X86-based PC
Voodoo 5 5500 AGP Graphics
SB X-Gamer sound board

I have the newest VIA mainbaord drivers and Voodoo drivers.

running Internet explorer 6 with outlook 6

dvd drive,CD burner,3.5 floppy,LS-120

WD 13.5GB Harddisk

The errors have started just as of 1-04-01

Thank You Very much,
Timmay

Hi! Timmay!
You say at the bottom that it started 1-04-01.Is that Jan.-04-01.I myself, have had trouble reading dates ever since we crossed the year 2000.I don't want to give my age,but it is up there.-------Have you been keeping an eye on System Resources to see if they are being dragged down when you stay on your computer.--------Donald

pstore has to do with protected storage. Although this post is for a different problem, the solution is probably the one you are looking for
