DEpending on your PC, hit "F8" or "Ctrl". Go into the BIOS and there is a screen / utility to set a boot up password. Just don't ever forget it, otherwise you'll be screwed.

There is a little proggy that I use called WinsecureIT. It seems to work rather well. You can find it at webattack. There is also another one calledSecureit Pro, but I haven't tried that one. Both are free.
