Program.exe missing

My computer says program.exe is missing and now i can't open any jpeg files. I started deleting stuff this morning because my hard drive is inexplicably half-filled. I just deleted some of the ugly pictures that came on the computer and the default program that pictures are opened in, but i didn't see this program.exe thing in any of the folders. How do i get it back? I'm desperate! I have an HP 7940 with a 1 gighz processor (pentium 3) almost 40 Gig hard drive, and i don't really know what other info you need. I can't remember and I don't have the box with me either. Please help if you can, all the software and Windows me came on the computer with no back ups so I can't reinstall anything either...

Right click on the picture and select "open with" then pick somthing else.Whatever you have for a program associated w/jpeg's is missing or damaged.Try using MSpaint or IE or image preview or whatever and see if it works. jimi_l
