problems with voodoo 3 2000 pci

Every time I start my computer my display drive for my voodoo 3 2000 card doesn't want to load and I end up with 16 colors or My icons change size and I can't change them. I'm running windows ME 550 MHZ AMD. I also have another problem My computer locks up on me a whole bunch, when I'm surfing the net mostly I have cable on my computer. Can any one help me?

Agree with Smitty. Download the latest driver, then go to device manager and remove the old one. Install the latest one. Then go to http://www.computing.net/windowsme/wwwboard/forum/14062.html and do point 10 about the 4 in 1 chipset patches. Then do the other points.
