I installed Windows and have been having problems:
1. I can't configure the MS-DOS window to be compatible my keyboard which is not english based.
2. I can't acquire figures with scanner within any Office application using only the "Insert Object" command. Apparently the scanning is well done, but then the computer displays an error message "Failed to create object. Make sure a valid .bmp object entered in the system registry" and stops the acquisition.
3. I can't use Adaptec to copy a CD with my 8200 series CD-RW.
If anybody has any tip regarding to these problems please e-mail me. Will be grateful.
Thanks in advance

Edit "MS-DOS window" proterties, and create a new autoexec.bat and config.sys file.
Tell mode to use your specific lang codepage. 850 is international, and 437 is spanish.

Sorry, I have no idea about this :-(
3-> I can't use Adaptec to copy a CD with my >8200 series CD-RW.
Upgrade to easy cd creator 4.0, which comes with direct cd 3.0. This should fix many problems. By the way, HP is offering a special software upgrade promotion for hp 8200 drives.
If you don't want to pay, try upgrading to the lastest "wnaspi32.dll". Nero 5.0 (another good recording software), should have it. If you want nero, donwload it at www.ahead.de
