I just upgraded my comp's ram from 64 to 128. Everything works except when I play games. They work for a while (5 min) then it crashes. I cant play madden unless I got to 98 megs. Unreal t crashes. Serios sam crashes, need for speed 5. Most of my other games do similar things (crash).
everything works if I leave it with 98 megs but I dont want that.
The rams I bought were simms 72 pin. 4 sticks of 32 megs Matching pair.

if you're still using 72 pin ram then the system is OLD. maybe it's not good enough to play those games. suggestion, get a playstation.

Try installing Freemem or freemem pro. The basic version is free and it does keep ram freed up.

Check your motherboard manual, some only allow certain combinations of RAM, e.g your 3 32's work but not 4. You may have to buy 2 64's or 1 64 and use with 2 32's. f you dont have manual look for manufacturers web site
