Hi all
can anyone help me with this problem? :
My scandisk auto starts each time i reboot my PC. I checked the STARTUP folder and it is not in there. Also, i always shut down properly so there is no reason for scandisk to run. Each time it runs it does a THOROUGH scandisk. I am using WinME. It seems to have appeared recently only. PS: i check the Scandisk options and no such option to enable scandisk at startup. help!!

there may be some physical bad sectors which may have developed in your hdd. check it.
