HI I got a huge problem. I have a pci Hauppauge wintv card. I used it now for like half a year and works great. Recently I changed over to windows me and used it for a good while with no problem til one day. I noticed windows me came with movie maker. So I got it going and as soon as I used it it gave me an error message. But some how it managed to record video. Since then I can you wintv/capture. I tried using this avi capture utility and since the movie maker incident, it gives me an error message of "Unable to draw this data format". It has never done that and worked fine until I messed with movie maker. What dose this massage mean? I tried deinstalling wintv software and installing it back and no effect. Same message. Can anyone give me some adive... thanks...

OH MY GOODNESS...I've been dealing with EXACTLY the same issue...and looking to find someone else with similar problems. I've called hauppauge and also microsoft. learned some interesting stuff. hauppauge ADMITS thier cap card does NOT work well with windows movie maker. They claim you can capture an avi and bring it into movie maker, but I bet you found that it is not editable as I did. Movie maker alone wiill NOT work for capture. and guess what? Neither will the latest Real Producer. What a shame. I like the tv part of the card.. but now i'm looking for alternatives. Microsoft talked to me and made a conference call with hauppauge. Essentially, the card is not "digitally signed" for windows ME. If you learn anything else..tell me. I want to do streaming video in WMF and RM and even as an MOV.. but can't with this setup today.
