Good morning, everyone. I have trouble copying and pasting files without opening them. Does anyone know what might cause the problem and how to fix it. Any response will be appreciated!

chensu, first, be sure your technique is correct. Not trying to be facetious here, many folks simply don't know how it is done.
First thing is to tell yor machine what you wanna c/p. That's done via highlighting. There're several ways to do it.
(1). Place the cursor at the beginning of the desired text. Left click and hold, and anything you drag the cursor over will be marked. Marking will stop when you release the cursor.
(2). Another way is to lc at the start of text and SHIFT+lc at the end and that will mark all in between.
Once you have marked what you wanna c/p, it needs to be put somewhere. That too can be done in more than 1 way.
(1). A RIGHT click will bring up a menu. Choose 'copy' from it (the cursor MUST be inside marked text).
(2) Another way is a keyboard shortcut if you prefer. Simply hit Ctrl+C in order to put your selection on your clipboard (invisible)
and use a rc and 'paste' from the menu or Ctrl+V to paste the text wherever your cursor is flashing. HTH.
