This is not a ME problem but since there isn't a forum for this I'll ask it here. I have a Cannon S450 printer and want to print from dos. Cannon informed me that all new Cannon printer don't have DOS printing capability. I think this is rediculous. Does anyone know of any way around this limitation.
are you printing text?... if yes print to a file and then open the file in a text editor, or word perfect or microsoft word and print from there Regards Miro

I tried printing from a dos prompt copy lpt1 and it doesn't print. I know I can print to a file and then print but I wanted to avoid that. Thanks for your help.

if it's only one page, hit alt+enter to go full screen w/ your dos window, then press print screen, paste the screen image to wordpad and your set. if you aren't in fullscreen it will print the background and waste ink tho'
