Printer probs

My printer says' "its disconnected" and I cant get it back "online" Have tried to install it over and over but the it gives me the same msg.It works properly until this msg showed up.LPT1 is working and the drivers
is the latest.How to get it back ?

I can see this has been an issue here before and I dont know if he's solved the problem.
My printer (msg above) is connected to LPT1 port,and the resy is the same problems that this man has.
Any smart soloutions anyone?

try going to start,settings,printers makes proper one is listed.

try going to device manager and remove the printer and reboot!

well well..for some reason the printer seems to finally be in a good mood.
I had to,dunno how,set up a new port for the printer,called "usb001 (visual port for usb)
and disregard the LPT1 port for this use.
If anyone recive this prob too let me know so I can try to help.
Thx 4 u'r time.
