And try the 95/98 driver. Printer Driver v4.5CE. It's small and should give you a taste of if it works. If not, start trying the status monitors, I'm assuming they have the driver with all the GUI in em. Status Monitor 2 v2.5bE might be the one but RTFM.
It does say read the readme before hand.
