I am running two winME boxes mine is the gatway for ics (internet connection sharing) The other day I noticed that my ip address changed from its usual subnet and it caused me to have a look in winipcfg and I noticed that there is no ppp adapter listed in there and I know it used to be there, any one know whats up with that? Are you using a modem to connect to the internet, or a permanent connection (cable/dsl)? If you're not using a modem, you don't need to have a ppp adapter listed.
And I guess the most important question...can you still connect to the internet? If you can, there's really no problem.
