I have run AdAware and SpyBot but I still get Popups on my wifes computer. I also ran Norton AntiVirus 2004 and I just can't seem to get rid of them. I am on a Cable Modem so I'm always "Online" but she even gets popups when the desktop is up. (we use Internet Explorer 6.0) Any Ideas? Where else can I look for these invaders?

This is a recurring theme on the Win9x-me-2k-xp forums: You could try the freeware version of pop up stopper found here. Set it up in aggressive mode and you won't have anymore problems. Read their instructions. One such instruction being that if you want to open a second browser window you have to press the control key (Ctrl) at the same time as clicking the IE icon or URL. Google have a google toolbar which also has a popup stopping feature which works in a similar way. You could get that as it also gives a nice small google search window obviating the need to go across to google.com. I use pop up stopper myself when I need to and I also have the google toolbar without the pop up stopping feature enabled. i installed pop-up stopper on my neibors pc along with spybot search and destroy and zone alarm pro i also cleared the internet cache and haven't had any more problems Ethernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny
