I have a small workgroup, sharing internet with a win ME..the rest are win 98. I've loaded all the protocols for the 2 nic's in the ME comp, and can share files, see computers in Network Neighborhood, but can't share the internet. Any help ?? Please?

have you enabled I.C.S, go to add/remove programs, windows setup, comunications, put a check in the box for Internet connection Sharing. A wizard should guide you through the rest. Any problems check out this site, it had me set up in about 30 mins.

Why not just get a gateway router (usually between 50-150 dollars for a 6 port) and bypass ICS? ICS doesn't always work depending on your ISP. If you already have an external DSL, cable, or even a dial up modem, you could effectively use a router and use DHCP to assign each computer a unique IP address. Just a thought. Good luck.
