Reply: (edit)Hi nazzza, If your spelling is correct and taskmngr.exe is listed, you have a trojan. Download 'Hijack This!'. Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan". When the scan is finished, click "Save Log", and copy and paste it in a reply. HijackThis!

Reply: (edit) Many of the items you listed ,probably can be removed from the stratup ,thru the System Configuration Utility (msconfig). You can do a search for startup programs ,and you will find a web site that list all of the startup's and if its Ok to remove them ,or if its a nessasary Windows Process. I know for instance loadqm.exe is related to MSN Messenger, so are a couple of other items you listed ,these can be removed from startup .You can also configure MSN not to load at startup ! I ,like you had to many items loading at startup ,untill I used MSCONFIG to disable them .Now my system boots up at 94% User Resources free.Even after surfing the web while watching TV in a resizable box with my TV Wonder my resources are at 78% after I log off. If you are not fimilar with MSCONFIG ,you can learn about it at Microsofts Knowledge Base ! To open it go to Start/Run/ type msconfig, when it opens click on the startup tab ,remove check mark from items you want to remove from startup and restart your PC ! FYI ,I have a P3 750MHZ 256MB RAM ! Good Luck Nick
