I have a DVD player on my computer and I would like to play it to my TV. I was told that if I have an S-Video port I can just hook a cord between the two. But, I only have a S-Video port on my TV. Is their another way to do this or do I need a new video card.
Here are the spec of my DVD player and my Video card:

As long as your Video card has S-Video out, or an a/c out, you'll be okay. Connect the a/c cable from your video card to your TV and another set from sound card to TV. You may need to update drivers as well to enable you to switch from TV to monitor through your display properties. If you download Divx or burned copies of movies, this is also a good way to enable you to watch them on your TV instead of your monitor.
