Play sound+internet= Computer hangs!!!!!

I have a really irratating problem here. My computer hangs when I play sound (like in Winamp) while I'm on the Internet. This started when i bought more RAM and a new soundcard. I have:
Duron 900MHZ 640 RAM Soundblaster PCI 512 Windows ME
My older soundcard is built-in to the motherboard or something.... I have looked throught ALL posted messages but none of them work. And I have DOWNLOADED THE LATEST DRIVER AVAILABLE.

check in your device manager (ctrl panel, system, device mgr. tab) and look under modems and sound,video,&game controllers. Go into the properties of your modem and sound card and see if there is maybe a conflict of some sort. They're likely sharing the same irq and maybe they don't like that :)

I think I have fixed my problem now... =) But...my connection stops when i play music (at least it doesen't reboot without warning). Then I have to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to shut down the connection. After that my computer gets really strange.... =(
ARGH!!!! My problem is still left. =( It must be my soundcard (or modem) ....because when I was at my friend, I could surf and play music at the same time. With NO PROBLEM. He has broadband. My Modem is in a AMR port...
