For some reason, when people send me pictures to my hotmail account they don't show up. This doesn't happen all the time, just certain ones. If I have them send the same ones to my isp mail account it works. When they send them to the hotmail account there is just a empty picture frame with a red x in the upper right hand corner. Even if I right click on the box and select show picture it still doesn't work. I'm stumped...anyone have a clue as to why this happens?

EagleClawz, as a general rule the dreaded 'X' indicates the picture referenced isn't available. Many times, it is either a fwd or is a picture from somewhere on the net that is no longer available for one reason or another. I've found thru painful experience that so long as I save the pix to my machine and THEN send it, it seems to get thru. If, on the other hand, I leave it online and reference it, some send and some don't. Don't know of anything you can do, think it all rests with the sender. HTH. Ed in Texas.

That makes since to me Ed. I'm still not sure why they show up on my other Email address though. I have most everything sent to the hotmail addy, and save my isp addy for family. When my wife sent me pictures to the hotmail account they didn't show up but when she sent them to the other account you could see them. Thanks for the info.
