Can anyone please tell me how to burn photos (taken by digicam) on Cd and then play on a home dvd player (one which is capable of playing cd-r's).

Do I need any special software?

Nero 5.5 will burn jpg photo's to a VCD, so that you will be able to play back on a external dvd player.
