I received a recordable disc with photos on it in jpeg and am able to play it on my dvd player. I copied the disc to a data disc and found that it would only play on my computer cd drive. Do I have to burn photos on a recordable disc rather than a data disc if I wish to look at it on my dvd player (hooked up to TV) I can see no difference on the disc other than one is a recordable and one is a data. Thanks for the input

what program are you using to burn it? I'm pretty sure that it won't work if burned as data, you can use a data cd, just don't burn it as data. Like if your using nero, it asks you if you are burning data, audio, or data + audio, some have the option to burn VCD, you would want to choose VCD if the option is there, data + audio (even though it doesnt' have audio) if not.
