Phone Dialer

Having installed ME, I know wish to use the 'Phone Dialer' facilty. I have got to the point where my modem dials out (but I do not hear it ringing through my headset) and the person hears it ring in their house, but when they pick up to answer they say it sounds as if it's dead. Thanks for any help forwarded.

It really sounds like the microphone and headset aren't working properly.
Could you have it plugged into the wrong jack/s on the sound card? Have you tested the mic using the voice recorder in ME?
Can't think of where it is right now as I am in XP. Take a look in the help files of Windows ME. Look up Microphone... see if you can test it.

Hey Steve, I noticed that you have the same problem that I do, also my brother has the same problem. My mic and everything is working fine.
If you find a fix for this, please post it here or E-mail me .
If I figure it out I'll do the same!

I think that this program is to be utilized as a call log feature and for dialing from your key pad. I want to use it to make calls when I'm not online via my headset, but it doesn't look like it was set-up for this purpose. If there is a shareware (free) program out there, that I can use to call from my PC... please notify me at your earliest opportunity.
