Phoenix bios with smart card

I have a Acer TravelMate 611TXV with PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Relase 6.0 with a valid smart card on it (i have also the Emergency card), a my friend has altered the bios unintentionally, and now when restart the system appears this message:"PlatinumPAS-PreBoot Authentication Services Verify. Please insert a valid SmartCard". I have tried both the Card but anything has changed. Like could I resolve the problem? Please help me!!!!!

hello try takeing the nickle sized battery out of the mother board and leave it out for 10 minets this will make bios revert to default. make sure you have all other power sources off allso. have a nice day
