Have you made any changes to your system? New monitor or audio card, anything like that. Also have you tried to start in safe mode?

I've been getting the same message, after my daughter installed Kazaa. I uninstalled it, and added AdAware, but still get the error messages.

Go into find files and folders and it should show you that pgmonitr is Promulgate. I think it comes from a program like Kazaa. After searching in find files and folders, you should be able to delete it from there.
If it came from Kazaa, search for more files and folders on it and delete. If it does not delete, which it should, there is a program called sure delete that deletes files you have tried to delete.

OK. We all appear to be having the same problem. KaZaa and Adaware. Am I to assume that I have to delete Promulgate file folder, Kazaa AND Ad Aware or just del Promulgate folder. Thoughts?
