I downloaded freeware of pgp on my windows me. After installation, went to reboot, blue screen of death was the best I could do. I was able to restore back to an earlier date, but can anyone tell me what might have went wrong?

Go to http://web.mit.edu/network/pgp.html Check and see if it will run with WinME. They should list all the OS it will work with and also check for a bug list to see what kind of problems have been encountered with the program. It's a good idea to always go to the Home Page of the freeware or shareware software and check this before you download and possible cause yourself some grief.

I went to this site, but they list no compatibility for v7.0.3 (the supposed Windows ME version). I downloaded 7.0.3 from www.pgpi.org and had the same blue screen of death. Any further suggestions?
