I did a free scan about a week ago at trend.com. It said that I had two files on my pc that were infected with this virus. I downloaded the removal tool, but didn't even come close to getting it to run. I just scanned my computer there again and now its telling me that I am virus free. Why would that be.

either the removal tool worked or it was a false detection. or the virus was in a temp folder or restore folder and got overwritten/deleted.

I have the same problem as Ryan only PE Magistr.B cannot be deleted or at least I don't know how. It's in C/Windows/Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5/6WVDATF2/within.com I'm a senior novice and need help. Please email instructions.

I have just had a house call scan by Trend and am told I have 11 infected files, stated they were uncleanable and then that I was now virus free ???????

I ran housecall and it told me I had 1 file infected with this virus, non-cleanable. When it told me at the end of the scan to either delete it or clean it, I could not do either, because it told me program it was in was running. HELP!
