Can anyone let me know it i can get a free download anywhere on the net to convert PDF files to WORD?

mucka, have to agree that a converter would be best. There's a kinda round-about way if you don't locate one.
You can get a free PDF reader. Using that, you can copy/paste into Word in order to create a document.

Ed,
I've tried to copy and paste into word but it dont work mate. When i try to paste the paste facility is locked off.

One friend got around the "security of PDF" by printing out the pages, then scanning them with his optical scanner, feeding that into his text reader to have the scanned text converted to a text file, and then editing the errors and making corrections.
After trying to do a few hundred of these, he was suddenly able justify the cost of their PDF to text file converter.
Keep in mine, one of the main reasons for the PDF format is to protect the source from being copied into other documents. By putting documents in to PDF form, the author is asserting his copyrights and letting you know that you have to have his permission to extract and use his writings. Else you are expected to pass his work along intact, unchanged and properly credited, according to the copyright laws.

mucka, while the 'paste' option may be greyed out on rightclick, chances are you can still paste by using Ctrl+V or Shift+insert at the flashing cursor. Give it a whirl & see.

I searched for a free program to fully convert text and formatting but could not find one.
Adobe Reader (free) allows the copying and exporting of text to Word but not formatting.
SolidConverterPdf from www.solidpdf.com is about the best program I have used. It is pretty much perfect and you can try it before buying, but it's $50 to download. It brings text, illustrations, columns, formatting, tables etc. into Word perfectly and then allows editing. I use it all the time.
